It is also the headquarters of Daimler AG, recently named Mercedes Benz group AG. The Stuttgart factory has a history extending back over 115 years and it is the highest tech location for the production of cars and hybrid drive systems.

The Toyota production system also strikes the perfect balance between man and machines. Instead of manufacturing only in japan and shipping out to the rest of the world, Toyota builds factories in the countries where it is going to sell the products. The localization is more than 800 % which allows for keeping the overall production cost low and cars can be more affordable.

Toyota passenger cars and commercial vehicles are sold in more than 170 countries. There are more than 36 vehicle-producing factories across the globe with plans to establish additional factories in Canada and Mexico. The Toyota century continued to use the 1GZ-FE V12 engine from  1997 to 2017. The engine was massive 5.0litres with double overhead camshafts producing around 300 bhp and 480 NM of torque.
