- Mercedes Benz Logo on the steering wheel
The Mercedes Benz logo on the steering is not sold separately. It comes with a driver-side airbag. The complete airbag must be replaced if the steering wheel logo is damaged. As the steering logo is installed directly on top of the airbag, any attempt to replace it can damage the panel or in some situations even the airbag. Therefore, it is not sold separately.

Other than the three-pointed stars, Mercedes Benz uses logos like AMG to identify it as a high-performance model of a standard version. Mercedes Benz acquired AMG in 1999 and has been developing it as an individual car maker instead of an engine tuner.

The biturbo logo is exclusively used on models with a petrol V6 or V 8 engines. There are two turbochargers used to compress the intake air. Each bank of cylinder gets its own turbocharger and the intercooler can be common or separate depending on the engine. The turbochargers are also wastegate actuators, there is a boost pressure control pressure transducer that can control the opening and closing of the wastegate of the turbochargers.

The hood ornament is located in the centre of the bonnet. It has a standing star logo with a ball joint in the base.
